Description

Transformed is an album by the American dance/techno artist AJ Mora, released on N-Soul Records in 1996, distributed in the US by Diamante Music Group and in Europe by Alliance. The album was produced by AJ Mora. Edited by Eric ‘E’ Hull and Scott Blackwell.

This is uncomplicated but in your face, lyrically simple but to the point. What it lacks in melody and harmony it more than makes up for in rhythm and energy. The beats bang, the techno synths bubble, bounce and soar, and the vocal samples repeat until you can’t forget them! AJ uses his vast experience in remixing and club DJing to make a high class hard house album with enough variety to keep most dance fans interested for the 55 or so minutes the album lasts. The lyrics are unmistakably gospel, often as hard hitting as the beats («I Believe In Jesus» and «Jesus Christ Is Lord», for example). Check the relaxed hip hop groove to «River Of Life» if you like your ‘bpm’ to be under 130!
