Description
Teen Scene is a multi-artist project released on CGE Records in 19…. (“CGE is the custom division of Praise Records, a branch of California Gospel Enterprises.”) The album was recorded live in concert by Bill Ball Mobile Recordings at The Embassy Auditorium, downtown Los Angeles, California.
Rock-ribbed rhythm… fleeting wisps of a memorable moment… melody… contemporary creations reflecting a Gospel heritage with its roots deep in American tradition… these are the building blocks of the TEEN SCENE.
For Life at its highest, something to live for, to be really “in,” young people need a personal experience with Christ… “a leap of faith.” Here it is! Listen with your heart as these young people… as full of life as any young people you know… sing robust songs of Christian experience. Listen to their joy… feel their feeling… get totally involved, suddenly you’ll sense the unseen force… this special ‘something’ which adds meaning and purpose to their lives!
It is with great pleasure that California Gospel Enterprises present; Andraé Crouch and The Disciples, The Noblemen, The Velvetones and Charles McPheeters and The New Creatures. Listen, they’ll tell you what’s really happening… this is it! …this is the TEEN SCENE! [A note printed on the back of the LP sleeve]
