Love Explosion is the sophomore album by the American singer and songwriter Karen Voegtlin of Andrus, Blackwood & Co. fame, released on Greentree Records in 1981, distributed by The Benson Company. The album was recorded by Tom Tucker at Triad Productions in Des Moines, Iowa; with Sherman Andrus of Andrus, Blackwood & Co. producing. Synthesizer overdubs recorded at Altered Audio in Evanston, Illinois. Vocal arrangements by Sherman Andrus and Karen Voegtlin. All songs written by Karen Voegtlin except track B2 co-written with Rex Voegtlin, as well as the lyrics for track A1 co-written with Rex Voegtlin and the lyrics for track B4 written by Rex Voegtlin only.
