The Messenger is the an album by the American pop/rock combo J.C. and Friends, released on Fortress Records in 1985, a division of Refuge Records. The album was produced by J.C. Meyer. All songs written by J.C. Meyer except the Sydney Carter classic “Lord of the Dance“.

Featuring J.C. Meyer, Debra Black, Michael Black, and Marty McCall of Fireworks fame.
