You’re Welcome Here is an album by the American singer Cynthia Clawson, released on Triangle Records in 1980, distributed by The Benson Company. (Later re-issued by Priority Records, a gospel division of CBS Records.)
The album was recorded by Rick Horton and David McKinley at Jack Clement Recording Studios and Woodland Sound Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; with Marshall Morgan and Paul Worley producing for JEN Productions. Mixed by Horton at Jack Clement Recording Studios. Introduction and interludes arranged by Buryl Red, based on “His Music” by George Gagliardi.

Cynthia Clawson is an etheral vocalist who combines her melodic talents with husband/lyricist Ragan Courtney on perhaps the best new spiritual song of the year, «The Journey», destined to be a standard. New arrangements of classics rarely work; however, Clawson’s interpretation of «Softly And Tenderly» i magnificent. “The Way I Feel” also showcases two great songs by George Gagliardi, «A Brand New Song» and «His Music»… an irresistible album. This wide collection of contemporary gospel tunes by a variety of fine composers stands to prove that personal and vocal maturity and solid material make the best and most enduring records. The album also reveals Cynthia Clawson as easily one of the finest female vocalists singing gospel today. Her expressive delivery, distinct but relaxed, communicates true sincerity of faith.
Tunes include down-home country sounds like Honeytree’s «The Pilgrim» and the traditional «Angel Band», as well as MOR cuts written by Bob Bennett and Ron and Carol Harris and a contemporary tune, «He Chose to Live in Me». In addition, the collection includes «Your Are the World to Me» by Ms. Clawson and husband Ragan Courtney.
