Description
Live is the sole album by American The Mehler-Field-Band, released in Europe on No Pressure Records in 1984. This double live album was recorded in Hamburg and Luedenscheid, Germany, during the band’s tour in 1983, with Johnny Jaworski and Hans-Werner Eifert producing.
The Mehler-Field-Band features John Mehler, Fred Field, Tony Sena, and Bud Nuanez. Mehler and Field were both connected to Love Song. Mehler both toured and recorded with Love Song. While Field never recorded with Love Song, he actually was a founding member of the band and wrote several of the songs later recorded by Love Song. Tony Sena was the guitar player for The Archers while on tour from 1977 until 1984, and as well one of the few tour band members to also actually record with The Archers. Bud Nuanez was a member of the jazzrock/fusion band Seawind, and later 40:31.
The sole solo album by Fred Field, entitled Fred Field and Friends, was released on Maranatha! Music in 1976.
