Description
A promo-only four-track 33⅓ RPM 7-inch vinyl split EP featuring two tracks each by the American singer/songwriters Randy Stonehill and Tom Franzak, was released on Myrrh Records in 1983 (catalogue number 9016211152-EP). Side A features “Shut The Dō” and “Light Of The World” by Randy Stonehill with the flip-side featuring “I Know What Love’s About” and “Walk That Talk” by Tom Franzak.
The tracks on Side A were taken from Randy Stonehill’s full-length album Equator released on Myrrh Records in 1983, recorded and mixed by Thom Roy at Whitefield Studios in Santa Ana, California; with Terry Taylor of Daniel Amos fame producing for Rebel Base Productions. The first track written by Randy Stonehill while the second track was co-written with Wayne Berry.
The tracks on Side B were taken from Tom Franzak’s full-length album Walk That Talk released on Myrrh Records in 1983, recorded by Joe Bellamy at Peace in the Valley Recording in Arleta, California; with Tom Franzak and Bellamy producing. Mixed by Bellamy at Peace in the Valley Recording and at The Mix Room in Burbank, California. Both tracks written by Tom Franzak.
