Things to Come is the full-length debut album by the Australian alternative rock band In The Silence, independently released in 1988, manufactured and distributed by Word Australia. (The band had previously self-released a 7-track cassette-only effort.) The album was recorded by Peter Maclean and Jeff Todd at Timbertop Studios in Melbourne, Australia; with David Gilmour and the band producing. Mixed by Jeff Todd, Phil Lake, and the band at Rich Studios in Sydney, Australia. All songs written by the band.

In The Silence is John Dickson on lead vocals, Ben Shaw on guitar and backing vocals, Angus McLeay on bass, and Jacques Zeelie on drums.
