It’s So Easy

Description

It’s So Easy is the sophomore album by the Canadian singer and songwriter Robert Koenigsberg, released on Kingsmount Communications in 1978. The album was recorded by Robert Koenigsberg and David Marsh with Koenigsberg producing. All songs written by Robert Koenigsberg.

It’s So Easy reflects the same style and quality of First Things First, effectively sampling both quiet and rough hewn material. In the latter category are the opening «Lifeblood», the boogie-fueled «Jesus The Healer», and «Brought Us Back Alive», a heavy classic rock track with Neil Young influences. Softer moods are supplied by piano ballads like «Any Old Stick», «God Really Is Good» and «One With Christ». In between are some worthwhile light-rock statements («Leaving It Up To You» and «Full Circle») and a Love Song-ish country rocker («A Good Deal More»). Nice gentle electric guitar and phased vocals on the acoustic rural-rock cut «Born Again Again». Features fourteen of Robert’s songs. [Ken Scott, The Archivist, 4th edition]
