West of Sunset

Description

The self-titled, sole album the Swedish west coast duo West of Sunset (Björn Ström and Thomas Axelsson) was released on Sonet in 1992. The album was recorded by Anders Hansson at Sonet Studios and was produced by Hansson and Ola Håkansson.

When Sidewalk disbanded Björn Ström, the former lead vocalist of Licence, joined forces with Sidewalk-members Jörgen Ingeström (keyboards) and Thomas Axelsson (bass) and formed the pop outfit Fingerprints. (Ström and Axelsson actually were founding members of Licence back in the beginning of the 1980s). Fingerprints released their sole album in 1989, entitled Time Is All We Need. When Jörgen Ingeström left the band Björn Ström and Thomas Axelsson formed West of Sunset.
