Description
Stå och stampa is the sophomore solo album by the Swedish singer and songwriter Tomas Hagenfors, released on the Swedish gospel label Signatur in 1980. Also distributed in Norway by Lu-Mi Distribusjon. The album was produced and arranged by Peter Sandwall of Choralerna fame. All songs written by Tomas Hagenfors except the lyrics on track A3 co-written with Ingela Hagenfors, the lyrics of track A4 written by Berthil Paulson, as well as the lyrics of tracks B2 and B4 written by Peter Carlsson.
Tomas Hagenfors is backed by a session band featuring producer Peter Sandwall on acoustic piano and organ, Peter Ljung on acoustic and electric piano, as well as synthesizer, Håkan Mjörnheim on guitar, Sam Bengtsson on bass, Per Lindvall on drums, and Thomas Opava on congas, with Glen Myerscough and Bo Eriksson sitting in on saxophone and oboe, respectively. Background vocals provided by Bosse Lindqvist and UllaCarin Holmberg. Strings by Sveriges Radios Symfoniorkester.
