Description
Ljuset bryter igenom is the sole full-length album by the Swedish alternative pop/rock band The Information, released on the Swedish mainstream label Stranded Rekords in 1984. The album was produced and recorded during the Summer of 1983 by Andy Kidd at Secret Studios in Belfast, Northern Ireland. All songs written by the band.
The Information features Conny Kjell on vocals and guitar; Göran Kjell on guitar and vocals; Dennis Höglund on bass and vocals; and Arne Renström on drums.
The band was also featured on the Swedish multi-artist compilation Rockplock released on Talking Music in 1980.

Note: “Just du” was released as a 7-inch vinyl single by Stranded Rekords in 1983 (b/w “Allt var bara ord”, both were album tracks). Earlier the band had released two 7-inch singles on Talking Music as well; “Husen på rad” in 1982 (b/w “Fri konkurens”), produced by Andy Kidd, and “Tankar och tvivel” in 1983 (b/w “I dina ögon”).
