Description
Reser till kärlek is the seventh studio album by the Swedish pop band Edin-Ådahl, released on the Swedish gospel label Cantio Records in 1991. (Cantio, established back in 1961, actually was bought by the Swedish gospel label Viva Records in 1990, who started out using the Cantio label imprint, so technically this was a Viva Records release.) The album was recorded at Edin Music Studio in Gävle, Sweden; and was produced and arranged by the band. An English edition of the album, retitled Revival, was released in the US market on Alarma World Music the same year.
A re-recording of the title track was released by lead singer Frank Ådahl in 2011 as Reser till kärlek (Chuck Dread Remix).
Trivia: The Swedish label Cantio, with its first efforts released as early as 1961, was sold to the Swedish gospel label Viva Records in 1990. Cantio was considered the premier gospel label in Sweden during the 1980s with artists such as Edin-Ådahl, Charlotte Höglund, Cecilia “Cilla” Lundberg Hector, Ingemar Olsson, Bengt Johansson, Bileams Åsna, Terra Nova, Badmintons, and Freda. (Viva actually continued to use the Cantio brand for another couple of years.)
