Description
Nasaréer is a collaborative side project by the Norwegian singer/songwriter Ivar Skippervold (of Frisk Luft fame) and lyricist Dyre Vaa, released on the Norwegian gospel label Lu-Mi in 1977. The album was recorded during April and May, 1977, by Egil Eide at Roger Arnhoff Studio in Oslo, Norway; with Finn Pedersen of Good News fame producing. Arranged by Ivar Skippervold. Music written by Ivar Skippervold with lyrics by Skippervold (tracks A1, A4, A5, B3, and B6) and Dyre Vaa (tracks A2, A3, A6, B1, B2, and B5).
Featuring Ivar Skippervold on guitar and piano; Bjørn Jacobsen on bass, and Svein Erik Gaardvik on drums. As well featuring Jan Thoresen on saxophone, Steinar Hannevold on obo and English horn, and Hans Erik Schei of Kari Hansa & Gregers Hes on flute. Background vocals provided by Arnold Børud of Frisk Luft and Tvers. Strings by members of Filharmonisk Selskaps Orkester.
