Description
Songs for the Shepherd, sub-titled 12 Songs of Praise and Worship, is the fourth and final studio album by the American singer, songwriter, and pianist Keith Green, released on his own label Pretty Good Records in April 1982. The album was recorded by Gordon Shryock assisted by Wally Grant at Weddington Studios in North Hollywood, California; with Bill Maxwell and Keith Green producing. Mixed by Maxwell, Shryock, and Green at Weddington Studios, assisted by Grant. Featuring strings and orchestra by the London National Philharmonic Orchestra, arranged and conducted by Harlan Rogers of Koinonia fame, recorded at Olympic Recording Studios in London, England.
Songs for the Shepherd was included among the Best Albums of 1982 by CCM Magazine, voted number four on a list featuring thirteen albums.
