Description

Välkommen Hero is the sophomore studio album by the Swedish pop band Freda’, released on the Swedish gospel label Cantio Records in November 1986. The album was recorded by Bo “Bosse” Reimer at Royal Music Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden; with Dan Sundquist and the band producing. Mixed by Ronny Lahti at Soundtrade Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. All tracks written by band members Uno Svenningsson and Arne Johansson.

Note: Simultaneously released on cassette, 12-inch vinyl LP, and CD by Cantio Records, with the CD version featuring three bonus tracks (single B-sides): “Sanningens magi” (4:20), “På tiden att vi träffas” (4:40), and “Ta min plats” (3:28). The CD version was re-issued by The Record Station ‎in 1993. In 1987 Cantio Records also released a 7-inch vinyl single recorded at Royal Music Studio featuring two non-album tracks with lyrics in English; “We can be heroes” and b/w “You’re on my mind”.
