Description

Whole World – b/w “Shakin’ the House” – is a two-sided 7-inch vinyl Limited Edition single by the American rock band Petra, released in Australia and New Zealand on A&M Records in 1986, manufactured and distributed under license by Festival Records Pty. Ltd. (catalogue number K-84). The track was lifted from the band’s full-length album Back to the Street released on StarSong Records the same year, recorded and mixed by Dino Elefante, John Elefante and Mike Mierau at Pakaderm Studio in Long Beach, California; with the Elefante brothers producing. The title track was written by Petra guitarist Bob Hartman, while the flip-side was co-written by Petra keyboardist John Lawry and producer John Elefante, with lyrics by Hartman and Lawry.
