Bringin’ a New Song Show #11: DeGarmo & Key is a promo album by the American rock combo DeGarmo & Key Band, released on Myrrh Records in 1978, a division of Word. The album was a part of a nationwide promotional campaign entitled Bringin’ A New Song launched by Word to bring special exposure to various new artists on the labels distributed by Word, according to an article entitled “Word Launching 12 Young Artists” featured in Billboard Magazine, August 5, 1978. The campaign also included a sampler album featuring tracks by these 12 young contemporary artists or groups, including “Emmanuel” by DeGarmo & Key, a track from their debut album This Time Thru.
