The Contemporary Christian Hits ’90 & ’91 is a multi-artist compilation released on Benson Music Group in 1993. This album is part of a 9 CD retro series released by Benson; also featuring ’76 & ’77, ’78 & ’79, ’80 & ’81, ’82 & ’83, ’84 & ’85, ’86 & ’87, ’88 & ’89, and ’92 & ’93.

These songs sound great because digital mixing and remastering have revealed the fidelity present in the original 24 track analog studio masters. These versions are virtually noise-free and filled with the audio excitement made possible by current technology. (Note: For the few selections marked by an asterisk – tracks 4 and 10 – the existing mixes were used because the original mixes were already of superb quality of because original multi-track masters were no longer available for remixing.)
