Description
Say Something Good is the debut album by the British pop/rock band River City People, released on EMI Records in September 1989. The album was recorded January – March 1989 by Don Gehman, John Carter, and Ed Thacker at Record One and Track Record in Los Angeles, California; with Gehman producing. Mixed by Thacker at Chapel Studios in Los Angeles.

Note: Simultaneously released on cassette, 12-inch vinyl LP, and CD by EMI Records. In the summer of 1990, River City People scored their biggest hit with a cover of the Mamas and the Papas’ “California Dreamin’.” Thus their debut album was reissued with new cover artwork and featuring three bonus tracks: “California Dreamin'”, “Find a Reason”, and “Huskisson Street”. “This album is dedicated to all the prisoners of conscience. River City people support the Anti-Apartheid Movement.”
