Holy Band [7-inch single]

Description

Holy Band is a 7-inch single by the American singer and songwriter Randy Matthews, released on Myrrh Records in June 1974, a division of Word (catalogue number M-138). The track (actually a shorted edit) was taken from Matthew’s full-length album Son of Dust released on Myrrh Records the previous year, recorded at Woodland Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; with Billy Ray Hearn producing. Arranged by D. Bergen White. The song was written by Randy Matthews.

Myrrh Records released a new single by Randy Matthews for last week to coincide with his engagement at Exit/In in Nashville. Randy, whose release is titled «Holy Band», also did a special presentation for the press and broadcast media. [A note featured in the June 15, 1974 issue of Billboard Magazine]
