Description
Stephanie is the debut album by the American singer and songwriter Stephanie Boosahda (February 7, 1952 – October 4, 2022), released on Celebration Records in 1974, a division of Doug Brown Enterprises. The album was recorded by Kirk Bressler assisted by Rick Spears and Bill Jobe at Shelter Church Studio (“Shelter Records, Third Street Studio”) in Tulsa, Oklahoma; with Douglas Brown producing. Mixed by Tom Russell. All songs written and arranged by Stephanie Boosahda.
Featuring Stephanie Boosahda on vocals as well as piano (with both Stephanie and Walt Richmond providing mellotron), backed by a session band including Richard Feldman and David Stearman on guitar, Jim “Otto” Byfield on bass, and Bill Kunze on percussion. Backing vocals provided by DeAnza Broch, Lois Besecker, and Michi Epstein. Brass by Doug Wilson, Phil Hartman, and Scott Plunkett.
