Make Way! A Carnival of Praise

Description

Make Way! A Carnival of Praise is a praise & worship album by the British singer and songwriter Graham Kendrick, released on Songs Of Fellowship in 1986, a Kingsway Music label.

Make Way for the King of kings: A Carnival of Praise was the very first ‘Make Way’ album and it pioneered the concept of taking praise and worship into the public arena, emphasising the need to declare God’s sovereignty in our land.

I have a growing conviction that if we are to achieve a significant breakthrough for the Kingdom of God in the nation, one of the things we must do much more, is to take praise and worship into the public arena. People need to be reintroduced to the church as a company of joyful, caring people, full of life and colour; and Satan’s kingdom needs to be confronted and invaded with the truth of Christ’s victory, spoken or sung out with faith and power. I hope that these songs make some contribution to this end. – Graham Kendrick [Note printed on the back of the LP sleeve]
