Description
Sumo Surprise is the full-length debut album by the American pop-punk/indie rock band Ghoti Hook, released on Tooth & Nail Records in August 1996. (Previously, the band released two EPs independently.) The album was recorded by Drew Mazurek, assisted by Mike Rippe, at Oz Studios in Baltimore, Maryland; with Kevin 131 (a.k.a. Kevin Gutierrez) and the band producing.
Ghoti Hook features Joel Bell on vocals, guitar, and saxophone; Conrad Tolosa on guitar and vocals; Jamie Tolosa on guitar and vocals; Christian Ergueta on bass; and 8-track Jones (a.k.a. Adam Neubauer) on drums.
