Welcome to Diverse City is the sophomore full-length solo album by the American singer, songwriter, and producer tobyMac of dc Talk fame, released on ForeFront Records in October 2004, manufactured by EMI CMG Label Group and distributed by EMI CMG Distribution. The album was produced by Toby McKeehan with Christopher Stephens, among others. Featuring a cover of Soul-Junk’s “Ill-M-I” from their album 1956 released in 2000.
Welcome to Diverse City peaked at No. 54 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold in the US by RIAA. The album won a Dove Award for Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year at the 36th GMA Dove Awards.
