Intense Defense

Description

Intense Defense is the third album by the American melodic hard rock band Joshua, released on RCA Records in 1988. The album was produced and recorded by Frank Mono at Dierks Studios in Cologne, Germany. Mixed by Pete Woodroffe assisted by Uwe Sabirowsky at Dierks Studios. Arranged by Frank Mono and Joshua Perahia.

The band actually spent an entire year in Germany recording the album with a budget eventually reaching one million marks (roughly $700,000). RCA USA ended up dropping Joshua as a result of the band putting the statement “This album is dedicated to the Glory of God” in the albums liner notes. Joshua features Rob Rock on lead vocals, Joshua Perahia on guitars, Greg Shultz on keyboards, and a rhythm section consisting of Emil Lech on bass and Tim Gehrt on drums.
