White Metal Invasion

Description

White Metal Invasion is a multi-artist compilation featuring various American hard rock and metal band, released as a joint endeavor by E & E Records and White Throne Magazine in 1989.

At one point, this cassette only release was supposed to get a CD reissue. But that was announced years and years ago and still hasn’t happened. This collection has many of the top bands in the Christian metal underground of the time, focusing on commercial, traditional, and power metal. Xalt, Seraiah, and Angelica were the only bands signed to a major Christian labels, although Xalt and Armada were on a local smaller Christian metal label at the time. Most of these bands have had their demo material reissued by various reissue labels through the years, except for 7th Angel. Even though they did get their demo on CD-R from an Italian label. Anyways, a great compilation if you like the style. I believe the Seraiah and Taker tracks were only found on this compilation until their later CD compilations.
