Description
Falcon is the fourteenth solo album by the American singer, songwriter, session musician, and producer Phil Madeira, Kickstarter-funded and independently released by Madeira on Mercyland Records in July 2025. Much of the album was recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; with Phil Madeira producing. Mixed by Russ Long. It is is largely an autobiographical recording.
Featuring Phil Madeira on vocals and piano, backed by Emmylou Harris’ Red Dirt Boys (Will Kimbrough, Chris Donohue, Bryan Ownings). As well featuring Matt Slocum of Sixpence None the Richer (cello), Jerry McPherson (electric guitar), and DeMarco Johnson (harmonica).
