Description
Revival is a seven-track CD-EP project by members of the American hard rock bands Guardian & Whitecross, PledgeMusic funded and independently released in August 2017. Featuring Jamie Rowe (Guardian vocalist), Rex Carroll (Whitecross guitarist), David Bach (Guardian bassist), and Michael Feighan (Whitecross drummer).
Two of the champion bands of the early 90’s have pooled their resources to bring the rock. Each band gets a remake of one classic ballad («Never Say Goodbye» and «In the Kingdom» respectively) and one rocker («The Rain» and «Top of the World»). Jamie Rowe’s bluesy vocals still sound amazing, and Rex Carroll’s lead guitar wails as fiercely as ever, backed by the rhythm section of David Bach and Michael Feighan. Two new tracks round out the collection, making a strong argument for everybody to drop their smartphones and video games and pick up a Bible and a musical instrument.
