Description
Brinnande, sub-titled Ett rockoratorium om det som skedde efter korsfästelsen, is a multi-artist project released on the Swedish label Prophone in 1972, distributed by EMI. The album was recorded July 1972 (6th, 7th, 10th, and 11th) at Platina Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden; with Tomas Ernvik and Jacob Boëthius producing. Featuring music written by blues guitarist Tomas Ernvik (who later founded the blues trio Vatten), with lyrics by Gert Gustafsson. Conducted by Sigge Nilsson.
The album features various Swedish musicians like Roland Utbult, Ulf Christiansson (later of Jerusalem), Tomas Ernvik (the founder and mastermind behind Vatten), Danne Gansmoe (later of Jerusalem, Vatten and Salt), Thomas Lindbjer (later of Vatten), Bosse Lindquist, Jalle Ahlström, Lars Folkerman, Björn Dahlberg … et al.
