Let the Healing Begin is an album by the American jam band Blues Counsel, independently released by the band in 2009. The album was produced by the band.
Blues Counsel are Will McFarlane on guitar and vocals, Tom Lane on guitar and vocals, Tony Hooper on guitar, keyboards and vocals, Rick Cua on bass and vocals, Tony Mora on drums, and Emedin Rivera on percussion. Special Guests: Phil Keaggy, Ashley Cleveland, Al Perkins, Ian Eskelin, Blair Masters, Jason Webb, Craig Swift, Leit Shires, and Justin Carpenter.
Blues Counsel started in 1987 as the unnamed Jam Band for the Kingdom Bound Christian Music Festival outside of Buffalo, NY. Some members have played together since the mid-seventies and even the newest members of BC have been with the band for over 20 years. Each member has a rich musical history with Blues Counsel as their touch point, playing together as often as they can. Like close friends whose conversation always picks up where it left off, no matter how much time has past, Blues Counsel’s eclectic blend of Blues, Rock & a touch of Latin continues to deliver therapy for your soul with their 5th recording, Love Infusion, available now.
