Jammin’ the Blues is the sole album by the American blues combo Rob Frazier’s Blues Farmers, released on Freedom Records in March 1999, manufactured and distributed by Malaco Records. The album was recorded and mixed by Peter Shurley at The Green Room in Brisbane, Australia; with Rob Frazier and Shurley producing.

The Blues Farmers are Rob Frazier (vocals, acoustic and slide guitars, keyboards), Peter Shurley (vocals, harmonica, fiddle), and Adam Lester (vocals, electric guitar) with guest Farmers Mark Smith (drums) and Mac (bass).

Rob Frazier’s main claim to fame is that he was the original lead singer for Petra back in the 1970s, but life didn’t stop for him musically after he left. Over 20 years later, this collection of blues/rock material shows he’s not ready for the carpet slippers and zimmer frame just yet. Rob’s fellow Farmers are Peter Shurley, who sure knows how to make his blues harp wail, and Adam Lester, whose lead guitar work is also pretty hot, and collectively they’ve composer credits on all the tracks except one. The exception is The Bob Marley/Curtis Mayfield fusion of «One Love/People Get Ready», which sticks out like a sore thumb.
