Description
Salmer til folket, sub-titled Luther-salmer i nyt lys, is the sixth album by the Danish jazz duo Den Danske Salmeduo (Hans Esbjerg on grand piano and Christian Vuust on clarinet and saxophone), released on the Aero Music in November 2016. The album was recorded on August 14 and 15, 2016 by Lars Nilsson at Nilento Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden; with Den Danske Salmeduo producing and arranging. The CD was released with a companion book featuring writings by the Danish Bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen, journalist Kåre Gade, and historian Thorkil Mølle. Design by Lisbeth Neigaard with photos by David Marquez and Martin Dam Kristensen.
