Description

Heart of a Servant is an album by the American pop/rock band Morningstar, released on Straight Ahead Records in 1986, distributed by Lexicon Music. The album was engineered by Skip Konte, Tim Jaquette, and Willie Harlan at Front Page, Studio Masters & Rockshire with Tim Archer and Dan Cutrona producing. Rhythm tracks produced and arranged by John Andrew Schreiner. Vocal arrangements by Tim and Steve Archer of The Archers fame, and Dan Cutrona.

Morning Star consists of Lee Matthews, Rickey Baxley, Juddy Harris, Chris Springer, Jesse Conte, and Al Ray Hebert with Jeff Meador. The album features instrumentation by John Andrew Schreiner (keyboards, with Dan Cutrona on “Time’s a Wastin'”), Prince Robinson (guitar), Bob Somma (guitar and percussion), Keith Nelson (bass), Tim Jaquette (bass), and Dave Spurr (drums and percussion). Background vocals provided by Gene Miller, Steve Archer, Tim Archer, Gary Floyd, Denise Graves and Morningstar with Howard Smith on “Where Could I Go”.
