Description
The self-titled album by the American rock band Ian Shelter was released on Pegosus Records in 1979. The album was recorded by Mark Ishikawa and Larry Lauzon at Heavenly Recording Studios in Sacramento, California; with the band producing. All songs written by John Flanagan except “Dreamer” and “Stargazing” written by Jeff Heller.
Featuring Thom Allen on keyboards, lead and harmony vocals, John Flanagan on lead guitar and vocals, Kevin Flynn on guitar and vocals, Jeff Heller on bass, lead and harmony vocals, and Mike Linn on drums and percussion.
Cool five man band dual guitar rocker with keyboards. Long tracks averaging around 5 minutes delve into rock, prog and a little AOR. Ripping guitar solo’s through out, especially songs «Temptress», «Dreamer», and «Boogie Lue». [Ken Scott, The Archivist]
