Description
The Way Out is an album by the American pop/rock band Eternity Express, released on Marock Records in 1985, manufactured and distributed by Marock. This was the final album from the band using the name Eternity Express, as their next effort would be released under the Illustrator moniker (a self-titled album released in 1987, distributed by Word).
Eternity Express features Nathan Gaub on keyboards and lead vocals; Dawndee Gaub on keyboards and vocals; Dan Gaub on guitar, guitars-synthesizer, percussion, and vocals; Mark Matthews on bass, saxophone, and lead vocals; and Daryl Sutherland on drums, electronic percussion, and vocals. The album also features Melody Gaub on background vocals, Clayton Light on percussion, and Kenny Smith prodviding sequencer arrangements, synthesizer and sequencer programming, as well as synthesizer solo on track B2 and acoustic piano on track B1, with Warren Ham of A.D. fame providing saxophone on track A5 and Dann Huff of White Heart fame providing additional guitar on tracks A2 and B2.
