Declaration is the tenth studio album by the American singer and songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman, released on Sparrow Records in September 2001, distributed in the US by Chordant Distribution. The album was recorded by Steve Bishir at Sound Kitchen in Franklin, Tennessee; with Brown Bannister and Steven Curtis Chapman producing. Mixed by Bishir at Seventeen Grand Recording in Nashville, Tennessee.

What can you say about Steven Curtis Chapman. 10 years in the industry, four million albums sold, three Grammy Awards, 37 Dove Awards, 29 number one singles and record-breaking concert attendance figures. His latest album continues this trend. ‘Declaration’ continues the musical trend of ‘Speechless‘ and is guitar driven pop-cum-rock at its best, with so many layers there is always going to be something new to catch your attention. When you finally get round to listening to the lyrics they reveal a man who knows God through the doubts and fears, as well as the good times, and wants everyone else to know God too.
