WINGS TO FLY – JEANNIE C. RILEY – Cross Country R 3539 (Benson)
Riley’s debut gospel effort on the new Benson company label Cross Country is solidly based in a country style and guaranteed to please listeners in both categories. Strong material accented with tasty ‘down home’ production and Riley’s definitive vocals leave the earmarks of a winner. [Record World (Gospel Album Picks), April 28, 1979]
