Soul’d Out to Jesus

Description

Soul’d Out to Jesus is an album by the American pop combo New Neighborhood (on this album credited to Don Norville & the New Neighborhood featuring Carol Walker), self-released on Agape Records in 1972 (??). The album was produced, arranged, and conducted by Bob Sisco, assisted by Margy Sisco. Vocal arrangements by Don Norville.

A much harder to find independent release in the same polished brassy format, with moods that range from gospel-edged pop-rock to Up With People-ish songs to mirthful pop ala Carmichael/Crouch. Some of the titles also appear on the Creative Sound record, while others appear only here. Full name from the back cover and label: Don Norville and the New Neighborhood featuring Carol Walker. Killer cover art. Custom Hollywood label. [Ken Scott, The Archivist, 4th edition]
