Being Myself

Description

Being Myself is a studio album by the British singer and songwriter Paul Field, independently released by Field on Nearfield Records in August 2016. The album was produced, recorded, and mixed by James Elliott Field at “The Old Wheelwrights” Studio in Devon, England. Arranged by Paul and James Elliott Field.

The album features lots of guitars from Dan Wheeler, a ‘cameo’ Hammond part from Phil Madeira, some backing vocals by Hannah Claire and cello provided by Torsten Harder.

‘Being Myself’ is a personal collection of new songs and a kind of self portrait of who I am today, 40 years and more than 800 songs on from where I started. This project is words and music that really matter to me. I’ve written these songs simply because I needed to write them. They’re from the heart, just me, being myself. – Paul Field
