Bryn Haworth releases single protesting at destruction of Britain’s woodland
Land Grabbing DevelopmentsBRITAIN’S blues and rock stalwart Bryn Haworth has released a single, «Enough Is Enough». It was written initially in protest of the destruction of the Epsom woodland and wildlife. Said Haworth, “My hope and prayer is that it will effectively add to the call to guard the creation we’ve been entrusted with, and help turn the tide of land grabbing developments that are destroying so many of our communities.”

PRESS RELEASE
Slide guitarist and Gospel Blues artist Bryn Haworth has collaborated with acclaimed film maker Nigel Walk, for his latest single and video project ‘Enough is Enough’ – lending their skills to the global cry that our trees and forests matter.
The concept was inspired by Bryn’s own experience of seeing a local historic woodland under threat: “When I heard developers planned to demolish the forest behind our garden and build a housing development, my wife and I were swept into the battle to save the woodland and the abundance of wildlife that has flourished there for centuries,” says Bryn.
Although the song was inspired locally it has a far-reaching message: woodlands are in jeopardy across the UK – and globally – as demand for land, crops and money win the battle over the world’s forests.
The song was recorded in collaboration with producer Neil Costello and musicians Mark Edwards and Mal Pope. The film, conceived and directed by Nigel Walk, features 5 year old Poppy who represents the new Gen Z and Gen Alpha in danger of growing up in an increasingly man-made, life-less environment.
“It’s up to us all to do whatever we can individually, so the following generations will have a beautiful Earth to live on. My tree matters, and I hope through this video others will be encouraged to speak out for their trees” – Bryn Haworth.
