Description
CRY 3 is a multi-artist project released on Clear Light Productions in 1975, though recorded in 1971. “This recording represents the full music sound-track to Clear Light Productions multi-media experience, CRY 3, an odyssey of the spirit.” The album was recorded by Stephen Sheridan Eldridge at Aengus Studios in Fayville, Massachusetts; with Don Andreson and Ronald Thomas producing.
Featuring vocals by Greg X. Volz (later of Petra fame), Mike Johnson, and Turley Richards, among others.

All of the session musicians featured are listed on the back cover. Musically, this contains some spacey prog/psych, mixed with some prog/folk, and Christian folk as well. Soundtrack to a Christian multimedia presentation with a variety of musicians participating including Mike Johnson (Exkursions). Features a couple of fine spacy instrumentals with synth and covers of Stephen Stills and Cliff Richard songs. Here is an album from 1975 featuring Greg X. Volz on vocals on some of the songs. As far as I can hear he is performing lead vocals on «Lost In A Dream» and harmony vocals on «Glory, Glory». Perhaps he can also be credited for lead and harmony vocals on «Open Our Eyes», but I’m not sure. The album was recorded in 1971 and was released four years later.
