Are You Ready? is the third album by the American folk/pop group The New Folk (“The New Folk represent the Music Ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International, Arrowhead Springs, San Bernardino, California.“), released by Campus Crusade for Christ associated M/M Records Production in 1970 (??), distributed by Creative Sound (“national distributor”). The album was recorded by Buck Herring at Abbey Sound Ltd. in Hollywood, California; with Larry O’Nan producing. Music direction and arrangements by Mike Omartian, who also wrote three of the songs featured on the album (tracks A3, A5, and B3).
The group changed its name to Armageddon sometime in 1970, before releasing an album entitled The Armageddon Experience. The album included re-recordings of a couple of songs from Are You Ready?, and was produced by Michael Omartian.
