Description
Times Have Changed is an album by the American singer and songwriter Dave Hopkins, released on Skyhook Music in 1977. The album was recorded and mixed at Fanfare Studios in El Cajon, California; with Gerry Limpic, Mark Rayburn and Ron Compton producing.
Folks attracted to the gentle orchestrated sounds of John Fischer’s Light albums should also appreciate Dave Hopkins’ style. Times Have Changed consists mainly of string-laden acoustic ballads and country-tinged soft rock. There’s an occasional heavier rock moment, though it’s usually within safe CCM confines. Myrrh artists Gerry Limpic, Mark Rayburn and Dave Pollard all assist. Hopkins was previously a member of the folk group The Random Sample. [Ken Scott, The Archivist, 4th edition]
