A Home & A Hunger, sub-titled Songs of Kingdom Hopes, is an album by the American singer and songwriter Caroline Cobb, independently released in September 2017. The album was recorded by Buckley Miller at Art House Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; with Gabe Scott producing. Additional engineering by Ciel Eckard-Lee. Mixed by Shane D. Wilson at St. Izzy’s of the East. All songs written by Caroline Cobb except “Behold, Behold” by Caroline Cobb and Sean Carter.

Caroline Cobb is backed by producer Gabe Scott on keyboards, guitar, bouzouki, dobro, banjo, lapsteel, dulcimer, and background vocals; as well as Bryan Brown on electric guitar, Matt Pierson on upright and electric bass, and Paul Eckburg on drums. Vocals and background vocals provided by Shane Barnard, Jill Phillips, Sean Carter, and Lori Wilshire of Wilshire fame.

ABOUT THE ALBUM:
‘A Home & a Hunger: Songs of Kingdom Hope’ is a journey through scripture, beginning with the Fall and the first “hunger pangs” in Genesis 3, and ending in Revelation, when God will make His home with us forever. It tells of exile and Eden, of restlessness and rest, and of God’s beautifully “upside-down” kingdom.
