Keeping the Dream Alive is the third album by the American singer and songwriter Phillip Sandifer, released on Urgent Records in 1986. The album was recorded by Roger Nichols, Larry Seyer, and Doug Sarratt at Amigo Studios in North Hollywood, California; at “Winks” Austin Recording in Austin, Texas; and at Center Stage Studio in Nashville, Tennesse; with Phillip Sandifer and Billy Simon producing. Mixed and fixed by Roger Nichols. All songs written or co-written by Phillip Sandifer.

This was Sandifer’s most successful release and contains the CCM classics “When It’s All Been Said & Done” and “Just Because You Are”, which both were No. 1 singles. “In His Love”, a wedding classic features a duet with the legendary Jennifer Warnes (“Love Lift Us Up Where We Belong”, “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life”).
