Casual Crimes is the tenth album by the American singer and songwriter John Fischer, released on Myrrh Records in 1986, a division of Word. The album was recorded by Gragg Lunsford, Gary Wright, and Roger Stevenson, assisted by Rob Jaczko, at Blue Jay Recording Studio in Carlisle, Syncro Sound in Boston, Park Avenue Sound in Hull, and Audio Matrix in Cambridge, Massachusetts; with Dan Russell and Victor LeComer producing and arranging. Mixed by Kevin Killen at Blue Jay Recording Studio assisted by Ed Goodreau, Scott Teats, and Rob Feaster.
Featuring John Fischer on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, backed by Victor LeComer on keyboards (PPG, Kurzweil, DX7, Roland, EMu-2, and Linn) as well as bass, Adam Steinberg, Dan Russell, and Phil Keaggy on guitars, Jay Feinstein on bass, Dave Birmingham on drums. Vocals provided by John Fischer, John Gates, Dan Russell, Michael W. Smith, Mercy Ray, Susanne Boucher-Jackson, Maddie Sifantus, Sally Krown, Victor LeComer, Kevin Killen, Dough LaBudde, and Joe Russell.
