Description
Bellsburg, sub-titled The Songs of Rich Mullins, is a multi-artist project featuring covers of eighteen songs written by the late American singer/songwriter Rich Mullins (October 21, 1955 – September 19, 1997), officially released on Old Bear Records in November 2022, exclusively distributed by Integrated Music Rights. This double-album of Rich Mullins’ songs – commemorating the 25th anniversary of his passing – were recorded live-to-tape in his old home just outside of Nashville, Tennessee by a featured list of artists deeply impacted by his lyrics and life. (The tracks were recorded with sparse arrangements – in some cases one voice and one instrument – so that the energy and passion of each artist, and the amazing lyrics, shine.) The album was produced by Chris Hoisington with Anthony Hoisington & Andrew Greer co-producing.
A follow-up album entitled Worktapes: More Songs of Rich Mullins was released the following year.
