American V: A Hundred Highways is a studio album by the American singer and songwriter Johnny Cash, released on The American Recordings in 2006, manufactured and marketed by Lost Highway Records, distributed by Universal Music Distribution. The album was recorded during May-August 2003 with Rick Rubin producing. It was Cash’s first No. 1 album in 37 years, and was certified Gold by the RIAA in August 2006.
