The Peacemakers

Description

The self-titled, sole full-length album by the British gospel beat group The Peacemakers was released on Cathedral Recordings in 1966. Previously, the group had released a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single featuring “Some Folks Search For Peace”, b/w “Don’t You Know” (Herald 1964), as well as a self-titled four-track 7-inch vinyl EP (Herald 1965).

The Peacemakers features Justyn Rees on vocals and rhythm guitar, Steve Hounslow on lead guitar, Norman Miller on bass, and Jeff Saunders on drummers. (Justyn Rees would later continue as a solo artist.)
